December 9-15 Kazan National Research Technical University. A. N. Tupoleva-KAI held an organizational seminar on the Erasmus+ project "Internationalization of Master Programs in Russia and China in Electrical Engineering" (INSPIRE) ("Internationalization of master programs in electrical engineering in Russia and China").

VSTU was represented by Dr. of technical Sciences, Professor, head. Department of" electrical Engineering "Alexander Shilin, K-T. tech. sci., associate Professor of "electrical Engineering" Alexey Shilin, K-T. tech. sci., associate Professor of "electrical Engineering" Vladislav Avakumov and programmer of the Department of "electrical Engineering" Pavel Dikarev

The main result of the meeting was the final agreed structure of reporting and financing for the final year of the project, based on the experience of implementing existing educational programs in European partner universities. As part of the round table, the participants were trained in the environment of LabVIEW development – a platform for the implementation of programs created in the graphical programming language "G" of National Instruments.

In addition to the business part of the Kazan colleagues organized a detailed tour of their city and University. The roundtable participants called for a whole architectural ensemble of the Kazan Kremlin – a complex of architectural, historical and archaeological sites that reveal a long history of Kazan, visited the unique island-town Sviyazhsk is a place of ancient history and impressive concentration of attractions on site that can fit more than 30 monuments of Federal significance.

In addition to studying the history of the city and contemplation of cultural heritage, the participants were invited to visit the scientific laboratories of KNITU KAI of various industries: engineering, chemistry, electronics, nanotechnology, computer technology, etc. the Principles of operation of the demonstrated devices are based on the achievements and results of almost all areas of science-physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science, opto-and nanoelectronics, artificial intelligence systems, etc. The innovative Technopark "Idea" and the city-University Innopolis – one of the three science cities of Russia and the first Russian University specializing in education and research exclusively in the field of modern information technologies-were not left without attention.
