Institutional monitoring of international projects of the University takes place at VSU

On September 12, the Voronezh state University started institutional monitoring of VSU projects by the staff of the Executive Agency for education, culture and audiovisual, the European Commission and the national office of the Erasmus+program.

During the visit, experts-coordinator of projects involving Russia in the development of higher education potential of the European Union Erasmus+ Executive Agency for education, culture and audiovisual, European Commission Anne Spangemacher, Director of the national office Erasmus+ in Russia Olga Oleynikova, Deputy Director of the national Office Erasmus+ in Russia Anna Muravieva – met with the rector of the VSU Dmitry Endovitsky.

– We maintain close ties with European universities. In 1961, the University was involved in training for foreign countries, and later became one of the first developers of the educational course "Russian as a foreign language". It is very important for us that the University participates in large collaborations. Such European projects bring together scientists from different countries. Thanks to their participation, our students and teachers can not only undergo training in partner universities, but also to develop new educational programs that meet the requirements of the European Union,-said during the meeting the head of the University.

– I analyzed your participation in international projects, looked at how your infrastructure is developing here. I am pleased to see the good results that the VSU demonstrates in this direction, – said during the meeting Anne Spangemacher.

It is worth noting that Alla Akulshina, head of the Department of international projects and programs of the Voronezh state University, is a member of the Council of experts on higher education.

The event included thematic sessions, a special issue of the journal "Vestnik VSU" dedicated to the internationalization of higher education, as well as an exhibition on the second floor of the main academic building of the Voronezh state University.

Within the framework of the event, the INSPIRE project was monitored by the staff of the national office of Erasmus, which was combined with the monitoring of the University of Otto-von-Guericke (Magdeburg, Germany) within the framework of the project.
